Turner Syndrome
1. This is occured while the baby is still in the mother's stomach. This is becasue Turner syndrome is sex-linked disorder.
2. The most are the Japanese (6.7), black (5.6), and Chinese (5.0), intermediate for white (4.0) and Filipino (3.7), and lowest for Hawaiian (2.1), and Samoan (1.4).
3. It happens one in 25hundred kids.
Neurofibromatosis
1. They are bron with it but not know it until the symptoms will show up which is at the age of ten years old.
2. Neurofibromatosis is affected through all race/ethnics.
3. It happens in one in 25000 kids.
Introduction
Genetics have been studied for a very long time since a priest scientist name Gregor Mendal decided to study how organisms are forming back in 1800s. He started out with studying pea plants. He takes genes and use it in a Punnett square. Genes make who you are. Sometimes the chromosomes get mixed up in your body. Chromosomes are another form that makes and shows who you are. in this blog out of many of other disorders, these are some of the examples of disorders that can happen if the chromosomes aren't set up right.

Turner syndrome is caused by a missing X chromosome. Most of the females develop this disorder. This disorder is sex-linked. Turner syndrome is nondisjunction. Also, turner Syndrome is a not a hereditary disease. Females are produced by having one X chromosome from the mother and one from the father. Turner syndrome happens when one of the parent doe not give an X chromosome. So the female child will have only on X chromosome. Women with Turner Syndrome cannot have children unless they can do with the help of hormone therapy and donor egg. There are a lot of symptoms that shows if a female has a Turner syndrome or not. one of them is the girl being shorter than the usuals; unable to go through puberty. They have a very stocky appearance, arms that turn out sightly at the elbow, a receding lower jaw, a short webbed neck, and low hairline at the back of the neck. some of the medical symptoms are lymphedema, heart/kidney defects, high blood pressure, and infertility. This syndrome is diagnosed with blood sample or during pregnancy with chronic villus sammpling or aminocentesis. There is one and the best way to treat this disorder. It is treated through therapy. They can also be given androgens. some of the people, they would go with taking other female hormone estrogen to get better outcomes. One out of 2500 female children get the Turner Syndrome. Turner Syndrome is not fatal. Girls with Turner Syndrome can grow up to at most 4'8". Still now, scientists are researching to find some treatment.

Neurofibromatosis is a disorder that is described by the tumors that are not cancerous that grows on the body that is called neurofibromas. They grow beneath your skin, brain and peripheral nervous system. This can grow anywhere on the body. Also, this disorder is affected one out of 4000 people. "This disorder is caused by a mutation in a gene on chromosome 17. the gene codes for a protein called neurofibromin. This protein regulates the activity of another protein called ras, which promotes cell division. When the NF! gene is mutates, it usually leads to a shortened version of the neurofibromin protein that cannot bind to ras or to regulate its activity. As a result, the ras protein is more active. Cells are told to begin dividing and never told when to stop, causing the formation of tumors." People inherit the mutated gene from the upper branch of the family tree. This is inherited through in an autosomal dominant pattern. Each chold of a parent with neurofibromatosis runs a 50% risk of getting the disorder. there are some symptoms that are just so obvious. They grow noncancerous tumors on their body. They have a lot of freckles as they get older. There are some that are really hard to identify such as bone defects, scoliosis, learning disabilities, etc. Even right now, scientists are still questioning themselves on why the symptoms vary a lot. There aren't whole lot of ways to diagnose this disorder. There are just testing to see if they have the disorder. There aren't any cure for this disorder. It is just naturally growing out of there body. There might be no cure although, people may benefit from surgical treatment of tumors.
